Using LyricLab
These terms apply when you use LyricLab, the songwriting service presented by Oriverse. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use LyricLab.
LyricLab helps you draft, arrange, save and export lyrics. AI suggestions are part of the writing process. You decide what to keep and what to publish.
Your account
You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are below the age at which you can enter a binding agreement, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
Provide accurate account details, keep your sign-in credentials private and tell us if you suspect someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account.
Your words and AI suggestions
You keep the rights you already hold in the material you submit. LyricLab does not claim ownership of your lyrics or generated drafts. You allow us and our service providers to process and store that material as needed to deliver the features you use.
Only submit material you have permission to use. AI suggestions may resemble other works, contain errors or be unsuitable for your intended use. Review them before publishing or distributing a song. We do not guarantee that a generated draft is unique or eligible for copyright protection. Copyright protection depends on applicable law and your creative contribution.
Responsible use
Do not use LyricLab to:
- Break the law or infringe another person’s copyright, privacy or other rights.
- Create unlawful threats, harassment or material that exploits children.
- Access another account, bypass usage limits or interfere with security.
- Overload the service through automated requests or misuse payment features.
Plans and payments
The Free plan costs $0. Pro is displayed at $5 per month. Plan features and usage allowances appear on the pricing page and in Settings.
Payments are processed through Paystack in NGN. Review the actual currency, amount and renewal details shown at checkout before you authorise payment. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own conversion rate or fees.
A recurring subscription renews according to the checkout terms unless cancelled. Manage cancellation in Settings under Billing. Signing out or ceasing to use the service does not cancel a subscription. Contact support if you cannot access cancellation or need help with a charge or refund. Any refund rights required by law still apply.
Service availability
We may maintain, update or temporarily interrupt LyricLab. AI providers and other services we rely on may also experience outages. Keep exported copies of work you need to retain.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free output or a particular creative result. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Closing an account
You can request account deletion in Settings. Export work you wish to keep and cancel any active subscription before deleting your account. If deletion fails or you need help, contact support.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, fraud, a security risk or a legal requirement. Contact support if you believe access was restricted in error.
Privacy and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains how account information, prompts and saved work are handled.
Changes to these terms will be posted here with an updated date. Where required, we will provide notice or request your agreement before changes take effect. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.
