About this policy
This policy explains how LyricLab, presented by Oriverse, handles information when you use its songwriting tools and account features. For questions or a privacy request, email privacy@lyriclab.site.
Information you provide
- Account details: your email address, name, sign-in identifier and any profile name, biography or avatar you choose to provide.
- Writing: prompts, selected themes, genre and language preferences, generated lyrics, saved projects and versions.
- Support: information you send when asking for assistance.
- Payments: subscription status, transaction references and payment records. Paystack collects payment details directly; LyricLab does not store your full card number.
How information is used
We process information to sign you in, generate lyrics you request, save your work, manage subscriptions, enforce usage limits and respond to support requests. Technical logs and request information may be processed to investigate errors, secure accounts and prevent abuse.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these purposes rely on performing our agreement with you, complying with legal obligations or legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.
AI and service providers
When you request a generation, your prompt and relevant writing settings are sent to the configured AI provider. The service supports Google Gemini and OpenAI. Avoid including confidential information or personal details about other people that are not needed for your song.
Google Firebase provides account authentication and data services. Paystack processes payments. Hosting providers deliver the website and backend. These providers process information needed for their role and may operate in countries outside your own.
The AI provider’s handling of submitted material depends on the service and account configuration in use. This policy does not promise that every provider excludes prompts from training or retains them for a fixed period. You can contact us for details about the provider used for your request.
Browser storage
LyricLab uses browser storage for sign-in state, preferences, selected templates and parts of your writing workflow. Authentication providers may also use cookies or related browser storage. Clearing this storage can sign you out or remove locally saved preferences and drafts.
Retention and deletion
Account information and saved projects are kept to provide your account and writing tools. You can delete projects and request account deletion from Settings. Export work you want to keep first.
Some records may need to remain for payment reconciliation, legal obligations, security or resolving disputes. Provider logs and backups may follow separate retention schedules. Contact us if a deletion request fails or you need confirmation of what has been removed.
Your choices and rights
You can edit profile details, export lyrics and manage your account in LyricLab. Depending on applicable law, you may also ask to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
Send requests to privacy@lyriclab.site. We may ask for information necessary to verify your identity. You can raise a complaint with the data protection authority where you live. In Nigeria, this is the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Security and children
We use authentication, access controls and request limits to help protect accounts. No online service can guarantee complete security. Keep your password private and contact support if you suspect unauthorised access.
LyricLab is not intended for children under 13 or anyone below the minimum age required where they live. If you believe a child has supplied personal information without the required permission, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
Policy updates
We will update the date on this page when the policy changes. Where a change requires notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide that notice or seek consent. Contact privacy@lyriclab.site if you have questions about an update.
