Account Information: Email address, name, username, and profile picture when you create an account.

Usage Data: Generation history, project data, lyrics you create, and feature usage patterns.

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and access timestamps for security and analytics.

Payment Data: Payment transactions are processed by Paystack. We do not store your full card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide and improve the Service; (b) process payments and manage subscriptions; (c) communicate about updates and features; (d) ensure security and prevent abuse; (e) analyze usage patterns to improve our AI models.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth with industry-standard security. We implement rate limiting, input validation, and access controls to protect your data.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all lyrics and content you create. We do not use your content to train AI models. Your projects are private and only accessible to you unless you explicitly share them.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase: Authentication and data storage
• Google Gemini AI: Lyric generation (your prompts are sent to Google's API)
• Paystack: Payment processing
• Vercel: Hosting and deployment

6. Data Retention

Your account data and projects are retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. Usage analytics may be retained in anonymized form.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access your personal data; (b) correct inaccurate data; (c) delete your account and all associated data; (d) export your projects; (e) opt out of non-essential communications.

8. Cookies

We use localStorage for authentication tokens and user preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Firebase may use cookies for authentication purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

LyricLab is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
